Our School ELSA and Home School Link Worker

Mrs Wright

We are extremely lucky at Orchard Infant School, as we have Mrs Wright, our dedicated 'ELSA' (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and 'Home School Link Worker'.

Mrs Wright works with children and families for a number of reasons, and spends time building relationships and trust so that children's mental health and wellbeing is supported both in and out of the school setting.

If you feel that your child may need additional support in this area, please speak to your child's class teacher in the first instant.

Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

We are extremely lucky to have an additional resource to support the Mental Health and Wellbeing of our children, and that is through our Mental Health Support Team. The Team are part of the NHS Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), and provide workshops at different times of the year, in addition to accepting referrals made by the school. If you feel that you would like to discuss a Mental Health Referral, please speak to Miss Sidney, Our Mental Health Lead.
