British Values

Welcome to Orchard Infant School, where we believe in promoting British values such as mutual respect, democracy, and individual liberty. We strive to instill these values in our children from a young age, helping them to become responsible citizens of the future.

At Orchard Infant School, we encourage our children to treat each other with mutual respect, understanding the importance of valuing and accepting differences. Through promoting democracy, we teach our children the importance of listening to others' opinions and working together to make decisions that benefit the whole school community.

Respect for the rule of law is a fundamental principle that we teach our young learners. By understanding and following the laws of our country, children learn the value of respect, responsibility, and accountability. These values help shape them into responsible and law-abiding citizens as they grow and develop.

We also promote individual liberty at Orchard Infant School, encouraging our children to express themselves freely and make choices that are right for them. By fostering these values, we aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
