Apples class had a fantastic day at Longdown Activity Farm where they became farmers for the day. The children collected hens eggs and carried them very carefully to the farm shop, bottle fed some greedy calves, held chicks and guinea pigs, bottle fed some kid goats and gave the very hungry daddy goats their lunch. The children had a brilliant time on their first school trip and have learned some interesting facts to help us with our Amazing Animals project back in school!
