New Year R Induction 2024-2025
Welcome to Orchard Infant School! We are excited to welcome your child as they start their school journey with us. Our aim is to provide a positive and nurturing experience for every child, helping them to flourish and reach their full potential.
Our induction process for the 2024-2025 academic year is designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child into school life. We understand that starting school can be a big step, both for children and parents, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can make your child's first year at Orchard Infant School a truly memorable and enriching experience.
This page is for Parents/Carers whose child has been offered a place to start school in Year R at Orchard Infant School in September 2024.
If your child has been allocated a place at Orchard Infant School, please come into school after 16th April (When we return from the Easter break) with your child's evidence of date of birth (ie birth certificate or Passport) and your 2 paper documents to prove your current address. (ie a utility bill and bank statement).
We also require you to complete our online Child Registration form (link below) to ensure we have all your child's details:- https://forms.office.com/e/0JVcfWigdF
The deadline for this form to be completed is Tuesday 30th April 2024.
The children will be separated in to groups alphabetically once they have been placed in classes. You will be informed which group your child is in once you find out their class and teacher.
